The Carnegie Pavilion is a collaborative project between Leeds Metropolitan University and the Yorkshire County Cricket Club. The £21 million, 4000sqm state of the art pavilion, designed by Alsop Architects and built by BAM, replaces and upgrades the existing space with facilities that surpass requirements for test match venues as well as providing unique, practical lecture and teaching areas for students studying Hospitality, Tourism and Events Management.

In 2012, Sum were engaged to deliver a number of high-tech installations and specification changes adopted to meet new I.C.C. rules. These include a dedicated facility for an Umpire Review System, revisions to curtain walling, cooling to players changing rooms, new routes for match day media services and new players’ balconies.
