At Sum we define BIM as ‘Building Information Management’ because BIM is much more than a 3D model.

BIM provides both the tools and a collaborative process to manage and share technical information amongst project stakeholders and we recognise the benefits this can offer throughout the whole life cycle of an asset.

Whether in conjunction with our Project Management or Cost Management offer, or as a Niche Service, Sum has the expertise to guide clients through the adoption of BIM and manage the change process required to maximise the benefits gained from BIM at both project and strategic level. We are moving our business in the direction of being able to prepare full Bills of Quantities and detailed Cost Estimation via BIM.
