Expert Witness.

We have a team of Expert Advisers and Expert Witnesses (Part 35) with a depth of knowledge and experience. We provide independent opinion on quantum, programming, delay, steelwork and remedial works, for lawyers, employers, professionals, main contractors and sub-contractors.

Our people not only have the relevant specialist career experience to be considered expert, but also have specific experience of providing Expert Testimony in formal proceedings such as Arbitration, Mediation and Adjudication.

Our Experts are practicing professionals with backgrounds in project management, cost management, procurement, steelwork, programming, delay analysis and contract administration to name a few. Our Experts provide honest, objective and independent advice, never afraid to tell you the things you don’t want to hear. We present considered reports allowing you to construct an argument with greater credibility and authority.

Our commitment to education, quality assurance and compliance, stands us in good stead. All Part 35 Experts have obtained a recognised Construction Law degree and benefit from Expert Witness training. We are proud to have an affiliation with the Construction Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution MSc course at Leeds Metropolitan University. In addition, members of our team hold qualifications and memberships with The Academy of Experts, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Quantum

We have years of experience managing the commercial aspects of projects for our clients and we specialise in the evaluation of Quantum for the construction industry. We act as an expert either on behalf of one of the parties or as an agreed Single Joint Expert.

We have a wealth of experience in investigating and advising on likely cost or actual cost on a wide range of building and engineering projects. We consider the impact of procurement strategies and programmes relative to cost as well as quantifying the measured works.

Our analyses can range from relatively simple factual reviews to highly complex exercises involving the analysis of markets, trends and benchmarking against our cost intelligence database.

We offer expert opinion and advice, often in the form of clearly written reports, on matters in dispute and evidence may be given as an Expert Witness (Part 35) in Court or before Tribunals and other examining bodies.

Analysis

We specialise in Forensic Delay Analysis services for the construction industry acting as the expert either on behalf of one of the parties, as an agreed Single Joint Expert or as a Court Appointed expert.

We have a wealth of experience in investigating and advising on the reasons why projects have failed, due to project change and/or delay on a wide range of building and engineering projects. Forensic delay analysis is the process of carefully working through project records in order to measure critical delays and also to identify the causes of, and liability for, those delays. More and more disputes require consideration of project delays, and the evidence of our team is respected.

Our analyses can range from relatively simple factual reviews to highly complex exercises involving the review of large amounts of data and analysis of programmes with many hundreds or thousands of activities. At either extreme a thorough forensic review of the facts is necessary, as is an understanding of the practicalities of each discipline.

We offer expert opinion and advice, often in the form of clearly written reports, on matters in dispute and evidence may be given as an Expert Witness (Part 35) in Court or before Tribunals and other examining bodies.

We act as an expert either on behalf of one of the parties or as an agreed Single Joint Expert.
