Financial Assurance.

We review and monitor the financial and contractual activities of a construction project, by combining our Project Management and Cost Management expertise to maximum effect. This is supported by our services in niche areas to provide a comprehensive monitoring offer. We act on behalf of the funder to ensure progress is in accordance with the agreed project documentation and in line with financial drawdowns.

A detailed initial review is followed by a periodic Fund Monitoring report which typically comprises of the following:

• Review of the proposed procurement route
• Review of the professional team, terms of engagement and P.I.
• A review of the Building Contract being used or proposed
• Evidence of compliance with Statutory Regulations
• Verification of all construction costs and confirmation of whether the project budget is realistic and achievable
• Verification and auditing of all expenditure
• Verification of the development programme and report on progress/delay
• Cost summary detailing all key budget items
• Agreements relating to statutory undertakings and others
